Originally from Michoacán, México, I immigrated to the United States with my family in 1999 in pursuit of greater opportunities. My father led the way, securing work in construction and eventually relocating our family to Watsonville, California.

I went on to earn a degree in Art & Design from California State University, Fresno, in 2005. After graduating, I began my career as a product designer and have since built a decade-long practice focused on user-centered solutions. I currently reside in Portland, Oregon with my wife, son, and dog.
